NORA Motorsport spent the day at Motorcycle Live 2025, and once again the show demonstrated why it remains one of the most influential events in the UK motorcycling calendar. Not only does it capture the full breadth of the industry, but it also provides valuable insight for the off-road community too – offering a glimpse into what riders, organisers and governing bodies can expect in the near future. Especially how off-road and adventure riding are evolving!
This year, one theme stood out above all others: the dominance of adventure bikes. Major manufacturers showcased expanded ranges, enhanced off-road capabilities and increasingly versatile platforms designed to bridge the gap between travel, trail and competition. The scale of the adventure-bike presence made it clear that this segment continues to surge in popularity and will play an increasingly prominent role across the wider off-road landscape as we head into 2026.

Alongside industry developments, the visibility of off-road sport continues to grow thanks to influential ambassadors such as Alex Snow, whose work across enduro and motocross has helped bring wider attention to the full spectrum of off-road disciplines. Through coaching, training programmes and high-profile partnerships, Snow plays an important role in showing that off-road sport extends far beyond traditional motocross. Figures like Snow help strengthen public understanding of the sport, inspire new riders and reinforce why industry events like Motorcycle Live are valuable platforms for promoting all branches of off-road competition.
During our time at the show, it was great to catch up with several respected organisers and representatives whose work continues to support and grow the off-road community. Among them were Geoff Walker of Suzuki SR75, Alex Snow Off-Road & KTM, and the team behind the Ducati Sweet Lamb Off Road Centre. All of whom contribute significantly to rider development, accessibility and high-quality off-road experiences in the UK.

Beyond the strong adventure focus, Motorcycle Live once again highlighted broader trends shaping off-road sport. Manufacturers continue to debut youth-friendly and lightweight models, reflecting the growing demand for early-access pathways into off-road riding. Advancements in suspension, electronics and ergonomics show that technology continues to filter down from professional levels to grassroots competition.
Equipment and rider protection also remain major pillars of progress. Innovations in helmets, body armour and impact-reducing materials showcased at the event will inevitably influence competitive environments in the seasons ahead. Safety sits at the core of NORA Motorsport’s mission, and it was encouraging to see the industry continuing to prioritise this area across disciplines.
Our ongoing involvement in MCIA-led work supporting safety, structure and regulation ensures that developments seen at shows like Motorcycle Live translate into meaningful, long-term improvements for riders, clubs and organisers across the UK.
While NORA Motorsport was not exhibiting this year, the event provided a valuable opportunity to engage with industry leaders, observe emerging trends and support the continued growth of off-road sport. Motorcycle Live 2025 clearly demonstrates an industry moving with confidence – technically, culturally and competitively – towards an exciting future for riders across all disciplines.
