Who are we?
Founded in 1992, NORA92 Limited is a long-established and respected National governing body within motorsport. Recognised as one of only 11 organisations authorised to issue Road Traffic Act Exemption Permits, NORA92 has evolved into the trusted sanctioning, licensing, and permitting authority it is today.
In October 2019, under the leadership of Director Roy Barton, NORA92 embarked on a new chapter—working closely with independent organisers and clubs to provide a clear, no-nonsense framework for running events. Our approach gives organisers complete peace of mind, knowing that all aspects of health and safety, legislative compliance, and insurance requirements are professionally managed on their behalf.
NORA92 proudly supports a wide range of off-road disciplines. We provide cover for mainstream sports such as motocross and 4×4 speed events, while also embracing more unique and alternative disciplines including cyclekarts and lawnmower racing. Importantly, we are open to working with all off-road motorsport disciplines across two-, three-, and four-wheel categories, offering a flexible and inclusive framework tailored to the needs of each organisation.
