Competitors

Are you looking to get involved in off-road motorsport but not sure where to begin? You’re in the right place.

Starting Out

Start by contacting one of our NORA92 Affiliated Organisers within your chosen discipline. Our organisers can guide you through becoming a registered member, provide full details of upcoming race seasons, event dates and venues, as well as information on practice sessions and open practice days.

Licensing

NORA licensing information and restrictions can be found here.

All participants are required to hold a valid NORA licence. This is completed annually and includes a medical, and motorsport is a dangerous declaration. If you do not hold an annual NORA licence, a Day Licence will be required and can be obtained on the day of your chosen event or practice session.

PA Benefits

Competitors holding a NORA Advanced or International Licence benefit from Personal Accident cover underwritten by reputable insurer Aviva.

The Advanced NORA Licence delivers comprehensive cover at all NORA-sanctioned events across the UK, giving competitors confidence and peace of mind every time they compete.

For those racing overseas, the NORA International Licence includes all the benefits of the Advanced Licence, with the added protection of Medical and Repatriation cover while competing abroad.

Full details of the benefits can be viewed here.
