Monster Mountain, Merthyr Tydfil
The South Wales Motocross Club returned to Monster Mountain for Round 2 of the SWMXC Championship, and despite a week of relentless rain and challenging weather conditions, the event proved to be a huge success.
Credit must go to the Monster Mountain track crew, who worked tirelessly throughout the week to prepare and seal the all-weather circuit, providing riders with a superb racing surface that held up brilliantly throughout the day. Their efforts ensured close racing, plenty of overtaking opportunities and, most importantly, a fun and safe day for riders of all ages and abilities.
Adding to the excitement was the appearance of multiple British Motocross Champion Conrad Mewse, who used the event as part of his preparation for this weekend’s MXGB British Championship Round 5 at Monster Mountain. Alongside fellow MXGB stars Jamie Keith and Finlay Jay, spectators were treated to a glimpse of some of the UK’s very best motocross talent.
