The weekend of September 6th & 7th saw the fourth NORA Motorsport Team Event take place. Once again the annual team event took place at Landrake Moto Parc in Cornwall with a strong line up of riders from the nine clubs competing for the prestigious event.

With a mixture of weather on the lead up to the event. Saturday morning the sun was shining as the clubs took part in the team’s parade with Cotswold Youth and AMX, Corsham SSC, Dursley MX, Hampshire Youth Motocross Club, Ringwood MXC, Severn Valley MXC, Southerly MXC, SWOR MX and LGR (Let’s Go Racing) in attendance.

With the addition of LGR for the 2025 event, each club/team could field 4 riders in each class (Auto, 65cc, SW85cc, BW85cc, Youth, MX2, Open and Vets) As always it went down to the final races of the weekend to determine the final standings for the event.

For a third year in a row it was Southerly MXC who took the title once again with an impressive 3870 points, second spot with just 3438 points was Hampshire Youth Motocross Club and taking third place on the podium was Severn Valley MXC with 3224 points.

In the Auto Class it was Southerly MXC’s Roczen-Rae Pickersgill who took the honours with 142 points, with Corsham SSC’s George Forrest taking second place and George Hutchings in third flying the flag for Southerly MXC. Corsham SSC took the Club Overall for the Auto 50cc class with 472 points.

In the Junior 65cc class it was Corsham SSC’s Ronnie Morgan who took the top step on the podium with 145 points. Severn Valley’s Mason Foreman took the second spot with 136 points and Ringwood MXC’s Tommy Wood taking third. Once again Corsham SSC took the Club overall for the Junior 65cc class.
Taking the overall win in the Small Wheel 85cc class was Hampshire Youth Motocross Club’s Elliott Shawyer with 138 points, Corsham’s Freddie Graham taking second and Severn Valley’s Freddie Smith taking third. Taking the Club overall for the class was Hampshire Youth Motocross Club with 439 points.

It was Bobby Farmer taking the overall for the Big Wheel 85cc class with 142 points. Second went to Sebastian Brown and third went to Toby Bond. Taking the class overall was Southerly MXC with an impressive 472 points.

With 194 points in the Youth Rookies class it was Zane Stephens who took the top spot on the podium for the class with Rylee Francis taking second overall and Danny Flude in third. Taking the overall club results for the class was Southerly MXC.

There was a strong line up of MX2 riders for the 2025 event but it was Severn Valley’s Josh Waterman who took the 1st spot on the podium for the class with 190 points, followed by Leon Williams in second with 184 points and Tyler Rowe in third with 174 points. Taking the club overall was Southerly MXC with 674 points.

It was Severn Valley’s Dan Maule take the overall for the Open class at Landrake Moto Parc with 184 points, followed by Charles Hucklebridge in second with 176 points and with 174 points was Severn Valley’s Lee Truman in third. Taking the overall as a Club was Severn Valley MXC.

The final group for the 2025 NORA Motorsport Team Event was the vets. Dominating the class with all moto wins was Cotswold Youth & AMX’s Glen Phillips with Hampshire Youth Motocross Club’s Jonathan Pettitt and Phil Mercer taking second and third spots on the podium. Taking the Club overall for the Vets was Hampshire Youth Motocross Club with 624 points.
