NORA CRS Rider, Jack Evans gets a shot at the big time on a wildcard entry to the British Revo! Check out his race report…
Entered as a wildcard in the Revo British Youth Championship and what a track it turned out to be!
Happy with qualification as I haven’t raced in sand or anything that deep before- line selection and confidence was key.

In the first race, I got boxed off the start and had to fight through. With bikes everywhere, I made the wrong line choice and went swimming on the first lap! With goggles filled with water and under my roll offs, I battled though with consistent lap times and finished 13th.
In the second race, I got pushed wide and ended up with the bike spinning out while running in 9th place. I lost 40 seconds by crashing and the bike started to bog. Finished in 12th.
11th overall on the day, so there’s definitely room for improvement over the season.
Key learnings from Coach Robb for conditions like this- ensure you are fully rested, hydrated and fuelled. I was drained in the last race, and whilst I was hydrated, I will be working more on fuelling next time.
Thanks to everyone that helps..
