As we continue the countdown to the 2026 NORA Motorsport Team Event at Foxhill Moto Parc on September 5th & 6th. We caught up with Rob Baker, Chairman and Team Manager for Cotswold Youth & AMX Club who is looking forward to this years event once again and with the goal of going into the team event for the title.
Here is what Rob had to say.
How do you feel about competing in the NORA Motorsport Team Event, and what does it mean to your team?
“Everyone at Cotswold Youth & AMX Club is really excited to be part of the NORA Motorsport Team Event. It’s a fantastic opportunity to bring clubs together and showcase the talent, commitment and passion that our riders have. For us, it’s not just about results, it’s about representing the club, supporting each other and enjoying a great weekend of racing.”
How do you prepare your riders to perform as a team rather than as individuals like racing at other events?
“Motocross is normally an individual sport, so this event brings something different. We encourage our riders to think about the bigger picture, support their teammates and understand that every point and every position matters. It’s about working together, helping each other and representing the Cotswold colours with pride.”
What excites you most about bringing your team to this event?
“Seeing riders of different ages and classes come together as one team is what makes this event special. The atmosphere, team spirit and the chance to compete alongside other great clubs is something we’re all really looking forward to.”
