CUSSES GORSE, FRIDAY 3rd to SUNDAY 5th JUNE 2022
The famous one-of-a-kind MX Masterkids UK event is back for 2022 over the late May bank holiday weekend... Friday June 3rd to Sunday June 5th at the epic Cusses Gorse! This is the UK's largest Youth only Motocross event and goes from strength to strength each year!
The race classes for 2022 will be:
Auto Class - 6-8 years old, max 50cc Automatic - 120 Riders
Junior 65cc Class - 7-10 years old, max65cc 2 stroke - 120 Riders
Small Wheel Class - 9-12 years old, max 85cc 2 stroke / 150cc 4 stroke, 14" rear / 17" front - 80 Riders
Big Wheel Class - 11-15 years old, max 85cc 2 stroke / 150cc 4 stroke, 16" rear / 19" front - 40 Riders
Youth Class - 13-17 years old, max 125cc 2 Stroke (13 years and over), 250cc 4 Stroke (14 years and over) - 40 Riders
Each class will get qualifying and 6 races over the three days with trophies for all riders in all classes.
ENTRIES
Entries are now available to those that rode the event in 2021, you should have received a link via E Mail but if not the contact the office. Entries will open in general on 22nd October.
TRANSPONDERS
MX Masterkids will be timed with the Mylaps transponder system, if you need to hire a transponder this must be done with your entry in advance of the event. If you own your own transponder, please ensure that you supply the number when entering.
LICENCES
NORA Motorsport licences are required for the event. One event licences are available and must be completed with your entry. 2022 NORA Licences will be available soon.
PAYMENT/REFUNDS
Total Entry Fee is £145, 3 day transponder hire £25, 3 day event licence £25
Deposit payments of £50 will be required with your entry to secure your place, please note that deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE without a medical certificate.
Full payment must be completed by 01/04/2022.

FINAL INSTRUSTIONS & VENUE RULES
Thank you for booking into MX Master Kids 2022 at the epic Cusses Gorse on Friday 3rd, Saturday 5th and Sunday 5th June. Below are the final instructions and venue rules for the event. Please make sure you read through them carefully before attending MX Master Kids, and if you have any questions, then please do not hesitate to contact the office.EVENT ADDRESS & ACCESS TIMES
Cusses Gorse MX Park Down Bard Road Winterbourne Gunner SP4 6JW what3words: stars.downfield.teamed Access to the event will be from Midday 12:00 on Thursday 2nd June and not before. Please do not arrive early and cause traffic issues on the main road. Throughout the event, gates will be open between 07:00 and 23:00.SIGNING ON
Rider signing on will be open from Midday 12:00 on Thursday until 21:00, and again on Friday morning 07:00 until 08:30. Please note that you are only required to sign on one for the event. The signing on tent will also double up as the information hub. For any questions throughout the event, please head to this point.TRANSPONDERS
MX Master Kids will be timed using the MYLAPS timing system. Each rider will be required to have a MYLAPS transponder. If you have your own transponder and did not supply the number when entering, please make sure you supply the number at signing on. If you do not have a MYLAPS transponder, then you will need to hire one for the event, please contact the office to arrange this prior to the event, transponders will only be available at the event to those who have pre-hired them. *Transponder hire is £25, and non-returned transponders will be charged at £350 for replacement.RACE NUMBERS
It is important that you are displaying the correct race number on your bike and that it is clear and visible to the timekeepers. For number and background colours, please refer to the NORA Motorsport regulations, available from the website. If you do not display the correct number, you will be turned away from the holding area, and not allowed on to the track.NORA MOTORSPORT LICENCE
All riders are required to hold a FULL NORA Motorsport licence, should you not hold a full NORA Motorsport licence then you will be required to purchase a one event licence at £25. Please note that One Event Membership Cards (Starting D and ending 22) are not full NORA Motorsport licences, and therefore you will be required to pay the one event licence fee.EVENT FORMAT
Qualifying and all races will be held over three days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday will hold Qualifying and Two Races, Saturday will hold Three Races and Sunday will hold 1 Race and Presentation. The full running order and schedule are attached. Although there is PA on site, it is your responsibility to keep track of the proceedings and ensure your rider is at the waiting zone in time for their races. There will be two waiting zones and a board displaying which group can access each waiting zone at all times.QUALIFYING
Qualifying will take place on Friday morning starting at 09:00. Riders will be allowed on track in groups of no more than 44 riders. AUTO & 65cc – The fastest 40 riders will qualify for the A Group of the class with the next 40 riders in the B Group and the reaming 40 riders in the C Group. AUTO & 65cc85cc SW – The fastest 40 riders overall will qualify for the A Group with the reaming 40 riders in the B Group. AUTO & 65cc85cc BW & Youth – All 40 riders will qualify for the one Group. Your qualifying position will determine your gate order for the entire event.SPECTATORs & ADDITIONAL CAMPING
Entries only include immediate family (Mum, Dad and Siblings) within the cost. Any additional family members will be charged £5.00 per person at the gate (under 16’s are free).WHAT WILL BE ON SITE?
Selection of amusement rides for smaller kids. Selection of catering units. • Sweets & Pick and Mix stalls. • DJ and Music throughout the day, and both Friday and Saturday evening. • Trade Stands – including spares and repairs. • Sports Therapy – John Mitchell Sports Therapy. • Photographer.CAMPING
If you intended to camp at the event, please do not dig holes in the paddock to level your race trucks and campers. NO ground fires are allowed, all BBQ’s must be on a base and not directly on the ground. Anyone not arriving with a rider will be charged £5.00 per person to enter the event, this will include those camping. If you are wanting to camp Sunday night, you will need to be out of the venue by 10am Monday morning.DOGS
Dogs are allowed at the venue, but they must always be kept on a lead. please be mindful and clean up after your dogs!WATER
Limited water is available on site, we suggest that you arrive with full tanks on your vehicles.PITS & PUSH BIKES
There is absolutely NO riding of MX bikes or Electric bikes within the public areas. Should you ignore this, you will be disqualified and sent home. Please also note that vehicles are not to be driven around the venue during race times. Push bikes are allowed to be ridden in the evenings only and not during race times.TRACK ACCESS
You must not access the track itself whilst watering and grading is taking place. All access is via the pit lane only. Please do not climb over the fencing between the track and paddock, the owners of the venue work hard to maintain the venue to a high standard and we will be responsible for any repairs that may be needed following the event.PARENT TRACK ACCESS
As per the NORA Motorsport regulations, it is a condition of the insurance that no more than 20 parents are allowed trackside and for the AUTO and 65CC races only. MX Master Kids will be providing numbered jackets that will be available from Signing On, you will be required to leave a £10.00 deposit against the return of the jacket. You will only be allowed trackside for one day; parents will be swapped out daily. Please remember that you are trackside to assist the track crew and help ALL riders, the purpose of you being trackside is NOT to coach your rider. Parents deemed to be acting in this way will have their jackets removed and will lose the £10.00 deposit.BIKE WASHING
There are pressure wash bays provided for riders parked in the main paddock on the grass, sponsored by Motoverde, there is no washing at your race truck in these areas. For people parked in the rear paddock, pressure washing is permitted at your pits.RUBBISH
You are responsible for your own rubbish and all rubbish must be taken home with you. You will all be provided with 1 bin liner at signing on. Please also ensure that the area around your pit is kept clean.TOILETS AND CHEMICAL WASTE
There will be toilet and chemical waste tanks (available from Friday) provided for the event. These are NOT provided for you to empty the waste from your previous event! Please ensure that chemical toilets are emptied prior to arriving on site.SURROUNDING LAND
All of the land and woodland around the venue is privately owned and strictly out of bounds to everyone. Please ensure that you always know the whereabouts of your children, anyone found in neighbouring land will be asked to leave the event. Unfortunately, we had children trespassing on the adjacent golf course at last year’s event, for this event to continue at Cusses Gorse then access to the Golf Course must remain strictly out of bounds. Please help us by ensuring that your children remain on site!PHOTOGRAPHY
This years MX Master Kids UK will be photographed and filmed by the very talented guys at the Toofast Media Group. They will be on site all three days, taking photos and getting footage of the racing, and some snapshots from the in the paddock.NOTE FROM THE ORGANISERS

Twelve riders from the MX Masterkids UK 2022 will be given the option of being a part of a new collaboration between NORA Motorport and Complete Racing Solutions. To be eligible riders but be holders of a full annual NORA Motorsport licence at the time of the event.
The CHAMP (Complete High-Performance Amateur Motorsports Program)Junior Development Team riders will benefit from the expertise of Coach Robb from CRS with weekly customised training and nutrition, mental development and strenght & flexibilty programs as well as a weekly 1 hour team call with Coach Robb. This is a program that money can’t buy and is only available to CHAMP riders.
Each rider will also be invited to attend one of the 2 day training workshops scheduled for June and July at one of the UK’s top motocross tracks including Cusses Gorse, Fat Cat, Apex, Duns & Desertmartin. Further on track training will also be organised throught the year.
In addition riders will get access to track and riding training from CHAMP ride coach Alex Snow
Team riders will also be kitted out in NORA Motorsport Complete Racing Solutions race kit, receiving two sets of kit, three times per season. Goggle and gloves will also be supplied. Riders will also get two bespoke painted crash helmets for the season along with one pair of race boots.
Each rider will also get a monthly supply of Hydration and Recovery products along with access to discounts to long term sponsors such as Dunlop and garmin.
CRS have been working in the US sonce 2005 and this will be the first team in Europe following on from the US and Australie / New Zealand. Coach Robb had a mass of experience and has worked with riders such as Ryan Dungey, Adam Cianciarulo, Jeremy Martin and many more.
