This past weekend saw the NORA CRS Development Team officially launch their 2026 programme, bringing together riders, families, coaches and support staff for a weekend that marked far more than the start of a new campaign – it set the tone for a pivotal year in rider development and long-term progression within British motocross.
Delivered in partnership between NORA Motorsport – a UK off-road motorsport governing body – and Complete Racing Solutions (CRS), this launch weekend reinforced the programme’s evolving role as a structured, holistic environment designed to develop the riders of tomorrow.
A Weekend Built on Purpose, Professionalism and Progress
The launch brought together the full 2026 rider roster for the first time, as young athletes experienced workshops, briefings and team-building activities aimed at preparing them for the season ahead.
Parents and families also took part in sessions designed to provide insight into the programme’s vision, welfare priorities, and the support systems in place, reinforcing the team’s commitment to rider confidence, resilience and well-rounded development from both on and off the track.
Seeing the riders in their official team gear, meeting their teammates and stepping into the season with a strong sense of identity captured the excitement and ambition that now defines the programme.

Coaching and Performance Support is at the Core!
Integral to the NORA CRS Development Team’s approach is the combination of elite coaching and structured performance support.
On-track direction is provided by experienced coach Joe Clayton, now entering his second year with the team. Joe led riders through sessions during the launch weekend that focused on technical development, race awareness and confidence–building, leaving riders energised and motivated for the season ahead.
In addition to hands-on coaching, the programme prioritises athlete health and performance education, with Director of Human Performance Coach Robb Beams providing nutritional and physical performance guidance throughout the year.
Each rider uses performance tracking technology and has weekly performance reviews, helping them understand and improve key areas such as conditioning, recovery and training impact. All with the aim of cultivating sustainable habits and long-term growth for each and every rider in the team.
What Makes the Programme Different
What sets the NORA CRS Development Team apart is its focus on holistic rider development that looks beyond race results. The programme combines:
- Backing from a recognised governing body
- Elite on-track coaching
- Structured physical performance support
- Nutrition and recovery guidance
- Weekly personalised performance reviews
- Wearable tech insights
- Clear progression pathways through NORA-sanctioned championships
This approach ensures that riders and their families are fully supported, educated and prepared… not just for the season ahead, but for the demands of long-term progression in the sport.
A Season with Momentum
With its full roster now introduced and the foundations laid at launch weekend, the NORA CRS Development Team enters 2026 with clarity, energy and purpose.
As training and race weekends approach, the team leaves the launch feeling energised and motivated, all with the shared belief that this season will be one to remember.
