NORA CRS Development Team Complete First 2026 Boot Camp at Fraddon Moto Park

July saw the first of the NORA CRS Development Team Boot Camps take place at Fraddon Moto Park, giving our riders two full days of intensive coaching, development and valuable time together as a team.

Led by our Team Coach, Joe Clayton, the boys were able to sharpen their skills and build confidence through his wealth of on-track experience.

We were also honoured to welcome Coach Robb Beams from Complete Racing Solutions, who travelled over from the USA to share his expertise with the team. Having both Joe and Robb working together made this first boot camp a standout opportunity for our riders!

Two Days of Learning, Development and Teamwork

Across the two days at Fraddon, the riders were able to make the most of having two experienced coaches on hand, each bringing their own knowledge, approach and expertise to the training.

It was also an opportunity for the team to spend valuable time together away from race weekends, strengthening the bond between the riders and their families while continuing to work towards their individual development goals.

For Team Manager Gemma Barton, the first boot camp couldn’t have gone much better:

“The first bootcamp of the year left me almost lost for words — what an incredible couple of days! This was, without doubt, the best bootcamp we’ve held to date. I don’t know if it was the unbelievable line-up of riders, the families who bring such positivity and support, or the fact we had two top-tier trainers on site for both days, each offering their own individual expertise… whatever the combination was, it just worked. It was amazing.

For me, the highlight was seeing the bond these boys already share and the dedication they bring to becoming the best versions of themselves. Watching them enjoy every moment while still working hard, soaking up every bit of knowledge Robb and Joe offered, was genuinely brilliant.

I’m already excited to see what the second bootcamp brings next month — if this one was anything to go by, we’re in for something special.”Gemma Barton (Team Manager)

The Riders’ Perspective

The two days gave the riders plenty of opportunity to work on specific areas of their riding, learn new techniques and experience the different approaches Joe and Robb bring to coaching.

For Ronnie Morgan, it was his first boot camp with the team:

“I was excited to attend my first boot camp with the team at Fraddon and what made it even more special was having Coach Robb fly over from America to work with us. Joe and Robb pushed us hard but I had so much fun doing it as well. One thing I learnt was some new front brake drills. It was also good finding out the things they do differently in the USA.”Ronnie Morgan (SW85cc Rider)

Freddie Joyner also reflected on the amount of track time and the opportunity to learn from both coaches:

“I had an absolute blast at our first boot camp! I feel very lucky for the opportunity given to me and the potential NORA CRS, Joe and Coach Robb can see in me. It was a great eye opener to the dreams that we as riders are all dreaming about.

Coach Robb and Joe Clayton were amazing and really made use of the time we had there, I had so much seat time and loved every second of it. Thank you so much and I’m very much looking forward to the next one.”Freddie Joyner (BW85cc Rider)

For Oliver Bardoe, some of the biggest takeaways came from developing his technique into the corners:

“I had a lot of fun at the Boot Camp at Fraddon. It was great to meet Coach Robb and have him there training us with Joe. It was good to spend time with the team. The thing I learnt the most was front brake in the entry to the corners and the leg work. Looking forward to the second Boot Camp next month.”Oliver Bardoe (250cc Youth Rider)

Next Stop: Brookethorpe

With the first Boot Camp complete, we’re now looking forward to heading to Brookethorpe this August for the second of our two-day boot camps.

It will give the boys another opportunity to sharpen their skills, continue putting what they’ve learnt into practice and develop together as a team ahead of the final round of the NORA92 British Cup Championship at Gossington!
