The NORA Motorsport licence will give you up to four licence options once again for 2024. Starting with the Practice and training licence which does not allow you to enter competitive events, then the National Basic no frills competition licence. Upgrade for £35 to the advanaced licence to be included in the group personal accident cover, in place for NORA 92 sanctioned events. For those wishing to travel outside of our shores there is the international licences giving pa and medical cover for all training and practice as well as approved competitions outside of the UK.

Annual NORA Licence – 2024

NORA Motorsport are once again offering four levels of licence for the upcoming 2024 season. the practice licence allows you to take part in any training or practice session but not competition. The basic licence does exactly what it says, allows you to compete with any NORA affiliated club or organisation with no bells and whistles and NO personal accident cover included. Upgrade to the advanced licence and you will benefit from Motorsport Personal Accident cover whilst competing at a NORA sanctioned event.

For those that want to race outside of the UK you can purchase an International licence, this not only comes with the personal accident cover but also includes European repatriation cover for approved events, there is also the option for cover outside of Europe for approved events, contact the office for individaual events. When you race with an annual NORA Motorsport advanced licence, you can take comfort in the fact that you have personal accident cover in place. With your licence, cover will be in place across all forms of NORA sanctioned motorsport, regardless of the type of sport. If your riding abroad, you can also upgrade your licence to an International licence which includes EU repatriation cover.

What is not covered?
You taking part in any occupation, sport or pastime of a hazardous nature other than your motorsports activities. You engaging in or taking part in armed forces service or operations. You engaging in flying of any kind other than as a passenger. Your suicide or attempted suicide or intentional self-injury. Your deliberate exposure to exceptional danger (except in an attempt to save human life). Your own criminal act. You being under the influence of alcohol or drugs (unless prescribed for you by a qualified medical practitioner) or treatment for drug addiction. Terrorism, War or Radioactive contamination. AIDS or Illness of any kind. Claims arising out of any existing medical conditions for which you have received treatment. We will not pay for any claim for the first 42 days of each Temporary Total Disablement claim. We will not pay more than 70% of your gross weekly earnings

Should an accident occur this must be submitted within 45 days of the Accident, with supporting medical documents

When you race with an annual NORA Motorsport International licence, you can take comfort in the fact that you have personal accident cover in place for NORA sanctioned events along with repatriation cover for approved events in Europe. For those that take out a 4×4 Unlimited licence the cover will extend to worldwide for Ultra4 Racing events.
