The word is spreading and the Summit 46 Amateur Winter Motocross Series is growing in popularity with every round.
Round three’s staging at North Nibley drew a stacked entry with a hefty increase in youth and adult riders taking to the line and the quality in the Adult A group saw some top riders throughout the field.
Duking out at the head of the pack were Mark Young and Josh Waterman with Young grabbing the overall with two moto wins to Waterman’s two. Luke Dean rounded out the weekend with the final podium spot.
Kyle Banks dominated the Adult B group notching up a hattrick of moto wins. Dean Leak grew in stature as the day wore on and by taking the chequers in the final moto would top the Adult C standings.
Three super consistent rides from Huey Sansom in the Auto’s saw him nail the top spot over double moto winner Charlie Farmer with race two victor Logan Lewis third.
Walt Carroll and Archie Stapley fought hard in the Junior 65’s but it was Carroll with a 1-1-2 scorecard who would take the honours over Stapley with Zac Bubb third.
Marley Alder headed home the competition in the Small Wheel 85’s, fending off George Clark in second and Max Beaumont in third with moto one winner Louis Challenger fourth.
In the ultra-fast Big Wheel 85’s Charlie Richmond came to the fore maxing out with a triple set of victories over the talented Freddie Gardiner in second and Ollie Bubb third.
