The Steel Hawk Motorcycle Club are proud to be hosting the UK’s first-ever stand-alone Electric Balance Bike event this Saturday 23rd April, with the second Revvi Cup event of 2022 at the indoor SX Worx venue in Sheffield.
Just under 100 riders from 3 years of age to 8 will be taking to the track which follows the first Revvi Cup event at Wheeldon Farm in Devon in February which was part of the Farmboy Bash.
34 riders will be heading to the line in the 12″ Open 3-5-year-old class including Martha Gill who raced to a third and fourth in the A finals at Wheeldon and Louie Bryant who won the B Final on the Saturday before finishing fifth in the A final on Sunday.
In the 16″ 3-5 years of age category, the Wright brothers Dakota and Dalton will be ones to watch with Dalton winning the 4 years of age Revvi Cup in Devon. Dakota landed double podium’s in the 5-6-year-old class at Wheeldon too, so he knows what it takes to run at the front of the pack.
Another Revvi Cup winner from February, Kolbe Red Sole will be looking to make it back to back victories in Sheffield but he will have 23 other 16″ Plus 3-5-year-old racers looking to get their hands on the trophy. The ever-smiling Poppy Reeves also returns to the track this weekend after having fun in Devon.
Jess Barks and Emelia Bryant have experience after racing in February so will both be contenders in the 7-8-year-old classes.
Practice starts at 8.55 am with the first race following straight after that.
