Sunday saw the DLMX (Dredgers Laugharne MX) club in West Wales hold their first meeting of the year down at their Pendine MX track, with over 125 riders racing from the auto class to the Adult A’s.

Practise was underway by 9 am and shortly after the first block of racing was fast and furious. Whilst the wind was bitterly cold there the weather did stay dry and the track was in top-class condition. As the day drew to a close riders praised Phil Coid and his small team who put in a huge amount of work to the track and it all paid off as riders made their way home after a great days racing, with all the kids taking trophies home with them.

A big shout out to Reuben James in the Auto Novice, Harrison Powell in the Autos, Rhys Jones in the Junior 65’s, Willian Evans in the Small Wheel 85’s, Charlie James in the Big Wheel 85’s, Lee Gould in the Adult B, Ashleigh James in the Vets and William Lewis in the Novice for winning their classes with a maximum three wins from three.

Also well done for Luka Aston on winning the youth class, edging out Brody Davies with two moto wins to one, and Rhys Baker in Adult A who took advantage of. DNF by double moto winner Alfie Smith to take the victory.
