Summer festival vibes will be emanating from the venue, which has well over 100 kids entered with live music, a free bouncy castle, sand castle competitions and loads more…
In terms of the race action, the weekend sees the culmination of the inaugural EXGP British Electric X Championship with rounds 5 & 6 for the Youth classes and 3 and 4 for the Adults.
The Oset 12.5 class has been a great breeding ground for young talent, and gunning for Championship glory will be Oakley Jones who holds a 7 point lead over his rival Kaylum Clark with both of these riders more than capable of taking or win or three. Oliver Fostun holds the final podium position and, with two strong days of racing, should be able to keep closest challenger Harri Fisher at bay.
The Mini-E class has exploded in popularity for this round with a full entry of 24 racers set to do battle. The racing in this class has been out of the top drawer with George Hutchings and Ethan Kentch duking it out for victory at rounds 1 & 2 at Wheeldon in Devon and at rounds 3 & 4 at Grove Farm on Portland in Dorset. Ethan was unlucky to get caught up with another rider when leading the round 4 final and if wasn’t for that he would be tied on points with George. George has been in great form though and with six points between them this will go down to the wire. Oliver Fostun holds third in this championship too but Lennie Lowe and Nancy Good are just 9 points behind him.
The Auto E3 class has seen Maximus Hall win all four rounds so far, but Oaklie Seldon made an impressive debut last time out and will be keen to get in on the action for the victory.
Former Revvi Cup top racer Kolbe Red Sole leads the Auto E5 championship after an impressive Round 4 win, and if he could bag two good results the title should be heading down to Dorset with him. It’s close though for the final podium spots though with Frank Wallis getting better at each round, double round winner Jesse Barks and the improving George Hutchings all in with a shout of the number 2 spot and the title if Kolbe slips up.
In the Adults the Rev Monkey Sur Ron team of Isaac Ash, Beanie Reece and Anya Colley will be hoping to secure their first title.
On top of all of this we also have the Revvi Electric Balance Bike Masters with classes for riders from the age of 3 to 8 on 12″ and 16″ bikes set to fight it out over 6 races throughout the weekend to see who is the true master.
A number of Revvi Cup champions will be racing so you can expect the action to be fast and furious on the Revvi Arena circuit.
Spectating and camping is free with the race action starting at aprox 9.30am each day.
