Smallbrook Stadium in Ryde plays host and home to Wight Warriors Speedway, racing and practicing from late June to early September on Thursday or Tuesday evenings. The Island has been giving fans of motorcycle motorsport a home since 1996, albeit with a break from the 2014 & 2015 seasons. With a purpose built stadium on Ashey Road, Ryde, which hosts approximately 11 track racing meetings a year during the season.
