BRIDGEND YOUTH MX RACE CLASSES AND GENERAL CLUB RULES 2022
AUTO 50cc Air-cooled, 10" wheels, entry level machines e.g., KTM Mini Adventure, Yamaha PW50- STD machines, NO TUNING permitted. NO WATERCOOLED machines. Age 4-6
AUTO 50cc MINI Water Cooled, 10” wheels. KTM MINI SX50 ETC. Engine can be modified. Age 4-6
AUTO 50cc SW, 12” front 10” Rear, KTM SX50, Cobra, SXE5. Engines can be modified Electric bikes can’t be modified. Age 6-8
AUTO 50cc BW, Machines modified with BIG WHEELS. Engine can be modified. Age 6-8
65 cc solo. Engine can be modified. Age 7-10
85cc S/W solo Engine can be modified. Age 9-12
85cc B/W solo Machines modified with BIG WHEELS. Engine can be modified. Age 11-14
GENERAL RULES FOR PRACTICE & RACE DAY
• NO TEAR OFFS allowed in any racing class- ROLL OFF will be allowed. This will be strictly enforced.
• All classes require one Parent / Guardian to marshal. The Parent / Guardian will be given a location to marshal on the track. The Parent / Guardian cannot leave that marshal point unless the race has finished and or the race has been RED flagged and involves their child.
• Parents / Guardians have an obligation to help which ever child is In front of them and must not hinder them to gain advantage for their child. If this is witnessed their child will be disqualified.
• NO TEAR OFFS allowed in any racing class- ROLL OFF will be allowed. This will be strictly enforced.
• All litter must be taken home! If you leave any litter you will be named and shamed!
• No dog allowed of any type. If you arrive with a dog, you will be asked to take it home.
• Everyone past the carpark must wear a High VISIBILITY VEST OR JACKET.
• Absolute Zero tolerance on Drugs and Alcohol. If found with drugs you will be banned for life and reported to the police and all licensing bodies.
• NO RIDING IN THE PADDOCK!!! NON-COMPLIANCE will result in disqualification from the day’s event.
• ALL COMPETITORS must wear Safety Helmet, gloves, goggles, and Motocross Boots before being allowed to race.
• ONE class during Championship -Each competitor can only ride in ONE class during Championship meetings
• Bridgend Motocross reserve the right to refuse entry and disqualify any competitor or member of the Public who is found to be abusive/aggressive towards any member of staff, fellow competitor, or member of the public.
• Practice/Racing starts 09:30 prompt
• Practice consists of 15minute sessions
• Championship for all classes is held on the big track
o Auto 2 laps
o 65cc & 85cc 3 laps
• THE MAIN RULE IS TO REMBER THIS IS FOR THE KIDS, LET HAVE SOME FUN!
