The Minibike Champs make a welcome return to their spiritual home of Champs Parc, Kettering for the rounds 7 & 8 of the British Minibike Championship this weekend.
The Pro showdown is hotting up with reigning champ Blaine Blackwell taking over the lead from Kieran Sembiante who has won 4 out of the 6 rounds so far this season. This battle is set to rage on for the remainder of the championship but throwing the spanner in the works could be young guns Leo Vowles and Harry Streeter and the more experienced campaigners Dan Foreman and Jody Burton.
Oaklan Winnall put his foot down at Kieradan Park in the absence of Jacob Hackett and now holds the top spot in the Kids 50cc category but a whole host of other young racers will be keen to make their mark on the championship including Jenson Banner, Seth Golding, Oakley Summers and Zach White.
With series top two Robbie Daly and Riley Ray Barrow missing in action last time out Franky Donoghue picked up the baton and ran like the wind with it at Kieradan Park winning each and every moto to amass a 68 lead in the standings which he will be keen to extend at Champs Parc this weekend.
Tyler Griffiths and Hugh Darley are set to go at it again for Youth Junior glory this weekend with just 40 points separating the duo, while in the Youth Seniors Harry Lee has an 81 point advantage over Ethan Lochrie, with Harrison Haslam in third and looking to make it on the box again.
The absence of Bayliss Bros inc at Kieradan Park has seen a three-way battle emerge for the Farmbike title between Callum McCaul, Daniel Lee and Shay Botcher with just 19 points between them.
Lewis Rose has been untouchable in the SuperStock class with reigning champ Ash Gorman having no answer for him. Will the tables turn this weekend?
In the Masters Jody Burton and Dan Foreman are duking it out for their class glory and with only a 7 point swing in favour of Burton no quarter will be given between these two.
Chris Rose’s run to the Vets title was dented last time out by a DNF but he still holds the cards and a 22 point lead to boot but he cant afford another zero-point moto as Neil Parsons and Jay Taylor will be there to pick up the pieces.
