The 2021 UK Girls Motocross Nationals was staged at the Brookthorpe circuit in Gloucestershire.

The sun was out and the track was ripped deep which meant for some fantastic racing across the classes.

Apart from finishing third in her opening moto Mylie Evans was in sublime form in the Auto’s winning the remaining four motos to stake claim on the title over moto one winner Lilly Senior with Ava-Mae Hulbert finishing the weekend in third.65’s winner Poppy Banning

Poppy Banning blitzed to four moto wins in the Junior 65’s before Meghan Williams fired in with the final moto victory to spoil Poppy’s maximum. On the box it was Banning on the top step with Williams in second and Hettie Hagues third.

In the Small Wheel 85’s Leah Rees Evans had a phenomenal weekend and took the chequers in each and every moto on her way to the title. Checoby Rainey was solid throughout and was rewarded with second place on the podium ahead of third-placed Alicia Conduct.

There was a battle royale in the Big Wheel 85’s between Lucy Barker and Rheanna Morgan-Rogers who went into the final moto level on points, with each rider capturing two moto wins and having two seconds. In the deciding moto, Morgan-Rogers had the early lead only for Barker to move ahead on lap two where she stayed in a fight to the line with just over a second separating the two at the chequers. Great Racing! So it was Barker with the title, Morgan-Rogers second with Hollie Roberts rounding out the podium.

Grace Richards didn’t put a wheel wrong in the Seniors and racked up five moto wins to take the championship over Grace Packman and Georgia Potter.

Tanisha Thomas was another rider to go through the card rattling off all five race victories to win the MX1 overall. Louise Powell would end the weekend in second with Kelly Phillips third.

In MX2 there was no stopping Nadiya Jones who was crowned the champ with a full house. Jones was followed home in each moto in second by Ria Truman with Eleanor Calby third on each occasion meaning that’s the way they stood on the podium too.

Once again it was another great event from the UK Girls Nationals crew with some exciting news to be released about 2022 soon.
